WHAT WE DO
We fill practical gaps.
And we bring people together to help us do it. One half catches someone who needs help today. The other is everyone who makes that possible.
PRACTICAL SUPPORT
We fill practical gaps.
Care packs into refuges. Referrals without the runaround. Someone beside her in court. A bed in an empty room. A real person to call.
We have stood beside women in some of the hardest moments of their lives. We have walked alongside women attending court so they did not have to face the day alone. We have provided emergency funds so families could buy the basics. We have delivered clothing to women experiencing homelessness.
No waiting list. No eligibility criteria. In real time, and exactly how it's needed.

CAMPAIGN
Know Your Worth.
Know Your Worth exists because of a donation. A well-known Gold Coast beauty brand gave us a substantial volume of premium wellness products, and the campaign was built around it.
On the first volunteer packing day, thirty-five volunteers put together more than 800 care packs. Those have gone out across South East Queensland and into regional New South Wales, including Wagga Wagga. There is more product waiting, and more packs to come.
Cosmetics. Hair brushes and hair wraps. Make-up brushes. A drink bottle. Good things, and deliberately so.
Each pack also carries practical information covering what a woman needs to know: her rights, the services available to her, emergency contacts, local support, and a personal message reminding her that her worth has never been in question.
Someone believes you. Someone thought about you. Someone is here.
#KnowYourWorth
Sometimes rebuilding a life looks surprisingly ordinary.
A couch. A dining table. A child's bed.
When you have left violence with almost nothing, these are not just pieces of furniture. They are the beginning of home feeling safe again.
Through our partnership with SourceByNet, a major Queensland furniture supplier, we have sourced and distributed furniture directly to women and families in the Logan, Wynnum and surrounding areas. Kirsty is on the road personally collecting and delivering it as it becomes available.
Packs have gone to: Friends with Dignity · DVConnect · UnitingCare · Surfers Paradise Anglican Care Centre · Centre for Women & Co · Mater Women's Hospital · Koongarra Women's Refuge, Logan · Logan Hospital Alcohol and Other Drugs Service · and directly to individual women in crisis.
COMMUNITY ACTION
We bring people together to help.
A charity with no waiting list only works if there is something in the account when the phone rings, someone free on Saturday, and a business somewhere with a truck.
Almost everything we have been able to do so far has come from somebody offering what they already had. Our job is to turn that goodwill into help that actually reaches someone.
Businesses and community organisations bringing goods, expertise, transport, warehousing, venues and their people. Often the most valuable things aren't money.

Thirty-five people packing care packs, collecting and delivering goods, running events and doing the unglamorous work that keeps a small charity moving.
Donors and supporters
One-off and regular giving is what lets us say yes at short notice, when there is no time to fundraise for a specific need and no program that covers it.
SourceByNet gifted furniture. A Gold Coast beauty brand gifted the products behind Know Your Worth. Princess Yachts Australia and Mulpha Sanctuary Cove are making our first fundraising event possible. Thirty-five volunteers packed over 800 care packs.
None of that came from a funded program. It came from people deciding to do something.
Workplaces, clubs and community groups bringing people together, plus our own events like The Rolling Lunch on 10 October 2026.

Worried about someone?
Knowing what to say is its own kind of help.
Most people who worry about someone never say anything. Not because they don't care, but because they're afraid of getting it wrong.
So we keep a practical, plain-English guide on this site for anyone in that position: what you might notice, how to start the conversation, what to say if someone tells you something, what to avoid, how to help without taking over, and where to find specialist support.
It's general guidance, freely available, and it's for everyone. That includes men worried about a friend, a sister, a colleague, or about a mate's behaviour.
Looking for workplace training or prevention education?
Be There Group delivers specialist bystander education, prevention training and workplace culture programs. They are a separate organisation from Be There Foundation, and they're who you want for formal training.
