Be There has no waiting list and no eligibility criteria. That only works if there's money in the account when the phone rings.
Emergency practical assistance when someone needs it that day.
Petrol and transport so getting to work, court or a safe place is possible.
Care packs of practical essentials, packed by volunteers and delivered to refuges and directly to women.
Clothing and household basics for someone who left with almost nothing.
Court support, so she doesn't face the day alone.
We deliberately don't claim that a set amount buys a specific item. What's needed changes week to week, and we'd rather spend your donation on what's actually needed than on what made a neat headline.
Prefer to give something other than money?
Goods, expertise, transport, venues, time. Some of the most valuable things we've been given this year weren't money.
